Eva was adopted in October 2004. She was a “failed” hunting dog from Boone County, Kentucky. She did not like loud noises (still doesn’t) and was most likely introduced to gunshot sounds too young. Eva is about 13-1/2 years old. She is mostly blind now but is still quite active and gets around very well in the house and yard. Unfortunately, due to her sight issues, we no longer go to the dog park like we used to for hours at a time. Instead, we take long walks on leash in the forest preserves here in Lake County, Illinois. Eva loves cuddling up on her dog bed under her daddy’s desk as he works, putting her chin on his foot.
Eva looks great! We're so happy that she can still enjoy walks in the forest preserves. It's obvious Eva found her perfect home.
