Jim Bob came to ACES as an older dog after living his life as an outdoor hunting dog.  Jim Bob blossomed in foster care and learned all about living inside and being a part of a family.  Jim Bob was soon adopted but, for some reason, began to show aggressive tendencies with the male in the family.  This sudden turn in Jim Bob's behavior was completely unexpected and wasn't anyone's fault.  Since everyone including Jim Bob's adoptive family was concerned for Jim Bob's well-being, he was returned to his foster family.  Once Jim Bob was back at his foster home, he began acting like the Jim Bob we knew.

ACES decided that the best decision for Jim Bob was for him to remain at his foster home as a Safe Haven Setter.  Perhaps, Jim Bob decided this when he first got to foster care.  Jim Bob now spends his days running and playing with his foster setter siblings and loving his foster dad.  Thanks to the sponsors of our Safe Haven Setters program, dogs like Jim Bob can be safe and remain in loving foster homes for the remainder of their lives.

Jim Bob is very grateful for the support received from ACES Safe Haven Setter Sponsors:
