Any information provided to us will be used only for the purposes of taking in or adopting an ACES dog and communication from the ACES board of directors.  This information will remain within the ACES organization and will not be shared, sold or rented to outside parties.  In addition, we will not release any information regarding previous owners to new adopters or vice versa unless mutually agreed upon by all parties.

The ACES website contains links to other sites. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those sites.

Your privacy is important to us.  To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.  To make this notice easy to find, we make it available via a link at the bottom of every page.

ACES understands the importance of protecting children's privacy.  We will never knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 14 in compliance with the requirements of U.S. legislation (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).  No one under the age of 18 should apply to adopt a dog.  ACES will not accept applications from persons under the age of 18.

We do not personally use, access, collect nor hold any credit/debit card information whatsoever.  All information submitted via our adoption application and foster application pages on the website is strictly confidential.  The information contained on these applications is shared only with ACES volunteers who are involved in the screening and adoption/foster processes.

We use the information you provide about yourself when submitting various forms to a not-for-profit service, only to complete that service.  We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that service.

We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive.  Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Any information on our website regarding adopted dogs and their families is provided by those families.  This information is posted only to our website with the consent of the adoptive family and is not shared any further.
