Tabitha is a three year old orange female who was turned into ACES with her sister Sabrina.  Tabitha is friendly dog who is comfortable in her foster home. She gets along well with our cats, both indoor and outdoor, and our three dogs. As with any field setter, there is no guarantee that Tabitha would be good with other cats in her adoptive home.  Our cats love her though!

When Tabitha first arrived in foster care, she was scared and not house-trained.  She has settled in well and now lets us know when she has to go outside.  She is also fine with her crate which, at first, she did not like at all.  Tabitha is not a fence jumper but did squeeze through gaps in the fence a couple times.  For this reason, we would recommend her adoptive home have a very secure fence.

We love that Tabitha is a talker.  She gets excited when it’s dinner time or when someone comes in the door and she immediately starts to talk.  It’s not a bark; it’s talking.  And Tabitha is quite the conversationalist!  Tabitha has such a cute personality.  She loves to interact with everyone, people, dogs and cats!

Tabitha is very good in the house and very calm. She spends her days inside, lying around.  Given the chance, Tabitha would sit on the couch with us.  First,  it’s one leg on the lap, then the second front leg.  After a few minutes, she tries putting her entire body in your lap.  Tabitha does her best to get what she wants and wiggle her way into your heart at the same time.

Tabitha is an outgoing dog that has been a joy to foster.  We can only imagine how much joy she will bring her adoptive family.

Holly Christensen & Steve Krogulecki hope that pretty Tabitha will soon be wiggling her way onto the lap and into the hearts of a loving forever family.

Tabitha sends a big "roo" of thanks to Lee Miller for his foster sponsorship while she waits for her forever home.
