Julie is a beautiful girl full of energy and curiosity.  She loves the outdoors and spends most of her day watching for squirrels at the bird feeder and keeping tabs on the wildlife outside of the fenced yard. She is extremely smart and mastered the doggy door to the outside in about 30 seconds. The door hasn’t stopped flapping since.

Since coming to her foster home, Julie has had no accidents in the house and has learned basic commands. Julie has come a long way in the short time she has been with foster family and really enjoys being around people and other dogs.  She loves snuggling on the couch but goes into her crate at night and sleeps peacefully until morning. She conks out around 8 pm from a busy day of playing with her foster sister Lucy and chasing squirrels out of the yard.

Since she is new to being a house pet, Julie is learning manners with her foster family and is enjoying her twice daily long walks with foster father and Lucy. She has figured out the rules of being on a leash and relishes the socialization. She does not react negatively to thunderstorms or loud noises. Julie takes everything all in stride.

Now that Julie knows what it's like to be a member of the family, she is hoping for a home full of love for her very own. She is definitely ready to give a family all of her love in return!

JULIE'S FRIENDS

Margie & Peter Green hope that Julie will soon be happily exploring the yard and snuggling on the couch in her forever home!

Julie is happily wagging her tail in thanks to Lee Miller for his friendship and support!

JULIE'S (NOW JESSE'S) SUCCESS STORY - May 2016

We just wanted to give a little update on Jesse (formerly ACES Julie). She has really settled in and is doing wonderful. We took her for her well check this week and also took her to a trainer just to see if we could get any new tips and make sure we were doing the best we could to acclimate her. She gets along with all of her new siblings and especially loves her setter sister Hope. They have been playing and running around the yard together almost inseparable.

She is the sweetest little darling and we love her like crazy.  We are so grateful to have her as part of our family.
