Brittney is a sweet Blue girl. At 4 years old and 40 pounds, she is well-versed in house manners, such as no counter-surfing, no begging, no chewing on household items.  She is completely house trained. She also knows her basic obedience commands and is learning to sit and wait before going outside.

When Brittney is outside, she is bouncy and energetic and has a ball chasing birds and squirrels around the yard. She is a bundle of energy out there and will run laps around the yard with her foster brother. While she is playful with her foster brother, she does not rough-house with him.

As soon as she comes inside, she is quite the lady.  She is calm and collected, and plops down on a dog bed or the floor and watches over the happenings of the house. Her favorite treat is tapioca pudding. She’ll turn down countless dog treats, but she’ll sit and patiently wait for a share of the pudding. Brittney is a quick learner and has settled into the routine of the foster home. She likes to relax and keep her foster parents company in the home office. She’s a pretty quiet dog, only barking at strange noises or when her foster brother starts to bark at something. She completely ignores the feline foster siblings. They can walk right by her and she doesn’t even bat an eyelash at them.

She loves to go for a walks and hikes. She’s getting better at walking on a leash; she just needs some practice. She thinks a car ride is awesome and likes to look out the window. Brittney likes to meet new people and their pets.  She doesn’t get nervous in new environments at all.

Brittney is learning that it’s ok to crawl up on the couch and snuggle up to her foster parents. She’s finding that it’s awful nice to be petted and snuggled. She sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom at night, but is fine curling up on the bed as well.

She’s a wonderful and sweet dog that will make a very happy addition to any family.

Debra O'Day wants pretty Brittney to have a wonderful forever home where she can play outside, relax inside and enjoy pudding every now and then!
