My name is Wally.  I’m 18 months old, black and white, and 52 pounds.  They call me Wally because I was a lost little puppy near Walla Walla, Washington.  You see, this nice farmer found me in October and kept me until January.  But he decided that it would be best for me to be adopted by a family who wanted to keep me forever.  I’m really sweet.  I’m totally housebroken and love to play outside.  Currently, I’m living with two foster brothers that are ACES adoptees and two Golden Retriever sisters.  We get along well.   There is a lake near our house and ducks and geese live on the lake. Well that really gets me going.  They say I’m a little “birdy”, whatever that means.  I just know that I get excited when I see birds.

Have I told you how much I love to play?  I must still be going through my puppy phase because I really enjoy playing, with everyone, all the time.  Good thing there are four other dogs around here. When Kasey is done playing with me, there's always Max.  Once Max has had enough, Jackie is willing to step up and so on and so on.  I would love to have another active dog in my family that likes to play as much as I do.

Don't let my energy fool you, though, I do eventually tire out and, when I do, I'm a good boy inside.  I like to sleep on my big bed on the floor.  However, I usually start in bed with my foster parents and then jump down.  You know - I like my space when I sleep, and those people crowd the bed.  I also like to eat.  So if you are thinking about adopting me you should know I’m a puppy and burn up a lot of food.  So I like extra cookies and big bowls of food, but I try to be pretty polite about it.  I really want to find a family of my own, especially if they give out cookies and have dog beds.  OK, that’s my story!

Holly Christensen & Steve Krogulecki hope that sweet, handsome Wally finds a loving forever home with lots of birds (and cookies) very soon!
