Hello, I’m Casan, a happy go lucky 45 lb beautiful blue setter.  Adopt me and you will never have another dull moment.  I am neutered, up to date on all my shots and am on flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

I have been with my foster folks for a few weeks now and boy do they have a lot of rules!  I can’t pee in the house.  I can’t snooze on the couch.  I’m not allowed to standup and give visitors hugs.  I figured out quickly that everyone is happier when I follow the rules so I am just going with the flow.

My foster folks own a doggy daycare and I go to work with them almost every day!  It is super fun but do you know what is there besides fun?  More people to teach me more rules!  All of the employees make me sit and lay down just to get a small bite of food.  They even taught me to roll over which they all find very amusing.  Over the weekend a girl scout that volunteers at the daycare came over showed me how to walk on a leash.  She was really cute and fun so I walked next to her which seemed to make her happy.  Watch me play with my friends at doggie daycare! I’m in a lot of the movies starting on June 10.

Despite all of the rules, I really, really love people.  Cuddling is one of the best things in the world.  I enjoy cuddling with humans and dogs too.  Anytime I take a nap, I go over to my canine foster brother and lay as close as I can to him.  I think he prefers to sleep alone but he lets me cuddle with him anyway.  He came from a shelter too so he knows how fun it is to finally find a family.

When I do get a few minutes to myself, I look for a shoe or bathmat to chew on.  Most of the time, I sleep quietly in a crate when my foster family leaves so I can’t get to any of the household items to snack on.  Occasionally my mom leaves me out but she says I can’t be trusted just yet.  I still have a little puppy in me, I guess.  My old family loved me a lot but didn’t let me in the house so I guess I have a lot to learn.  Everyone says I’m making great progress!

My old family also had a ton of kids so I wouldn’t mind going to a home with children.  I interact with all kinds of kids and adults when I am hanging out in the office of the doggy daycare so I am very used to meeting all kinds of new people.  I have never met a cat so I can’t say how I would feel about that.

I like to ride in the car but sometimes my belly gets upset and my breakfast ends up on the seat.  I don’t mind enjoying it the second time around but my foster mom says that is gross.  I have only been in the car a few times to go to the vet and when my family took me to the shelter so you can see why I get a little nervous.  I think it is something I will learn to enjoy more once I get to go to a few fun places.

One more thing, I love to play and run and play and run and play some more.  I am looking for a family that loves to be active and have fun.  I would really enjoy a family with another dog to cuddle with.  A big fenced yard would be nice too.  Most of all, I just want a family to love…and a big bowl of kibble twice a day.
