Watch out world, here comes Pixie! Pixie is a small, spunky, two year old tri-color setter. Pixie weighs in at a lean 35 pounds and is full of fun and energy.

Pixie came to ACES from a shelter in North Carolina and both sets of her foster folks are amazed that someone let this sweet pup go. Pixie began her new ACES life in a temporary foster home in North Carolina. In this home, she had the opportunity to interact with small children. Pixie loved the kids and the kids loved Pixie!

In her ACES foster home, she lives with another setter and reports to work at her foster family's doggy daycare every day. Pixie loves to play, play, play! She will romp in the play yard with her doggy pals every minute! She is good with small and large dogs.

This sweet setter has recently been spayed and is up to date on all shots, heartworm meds and flea/tick treatment. She is fully housetrained and crate trained. She is trained to sleep in her bed or crate in her foster home but will happily cuddle up on the couch if she is invited. Pixie is an excellent travel companion as she hops in the back seat and snoozes or gazes out the window. She needs a bit of work walking on a loose leash and basic commands, but she loves food and is highly motivated to learn. Her foster folks are working on training each day. Her status with cats is unknown.

Pixie has a fantastic temperament and is as sweet as can be. She loves to play with other pups, people and toys. She also has a fondness for butterflies and will chase them around the yard for hours. She will be a fantastic pet for a family or an active single or couple. She will need a bit of exercise each day so couch potatoes need not apply!

If you want a pup that will settle into your home easily, this delightful dog is the one for you. Pixie is highly adaptable and always ready for the next adventure!

Lee Miller hopes that Pixie will be chasing butterflies in her forever home's backyard very soon!

Steve, Teri and Miss Sophia Sauer hope that sweet Pixie will find her perfect forever family soon.
