Meet Carlos, a four year old, 45 lb. setter who is more puppy than adult.  Carlos is a heart-melter.  He is affectionate and will gently put his head on your legs and look up at you with his pretty face.  Carlos gets along with everyone and every animal we have in the house.  He is good with big and little dogs, with cats and with children.
Carlos is very active outside.  He is a typical setter and will stare and point at the birds.  The other day, he saw something and kept the pose for more than five minutes.  After a while, he sat and then finally laid down, never losing his stare on the critter.
Carlos is learning about living in a house.  He was probably a kenneled dog before coming to ACES.  He is working on his housetraining.  He also likes to chew so his family will need to make sure to watch him and to provide appropriate chew toys to keep him busy.  Carlos is very responsive to his people.  When we call him in, he comes and hunkers down and raises his paw.  He's very cute.
Carlos is very friendly and outgoing and he loves everyone he meets.  He loves being outside, he loves being inside with people.  Carlos will make a great addition to anyone's household.  He is a charmer.

Carlos has become a most wonderful foster. He gets along very well with his sisters. Carlos loves to play outside with Phoenix his foster ES. He is a joy to watch. He loves the backyard. He will point the other dogs and look so cute slowly creeping up on them to sit and ES stare at them. It is funny to watch.

He sits or lays at our feet when we are watching tv. Carlos also greets you with a paw up for a shake. He has learned to sit for treats and always gets a dog bone when he comes in from outside. He is housebroken and very loving. Carlos will make a very good pet for some lucky family. He is a perfect dog.

We hope you'll be charming your forever family very soon!  Steve, Teri and Miss Sydney Sauer
