Hi! I'm Memphis! I love life! It's so exciting to do new things and meet new people. I don't hold back from anything. If it's new, I have to check it out. I never meet a stranger. Everybody and everything is my friend.

Did I mention that I like to talk? I do. When you talk to me, if I feel like it, I'll answer back with arooo roo. Sometimes I combine that with a little motion. I contort my body into a tail wagging wiggly "U" shape and trot sideways over to see you. Then there's what my foster dad calls the "crazy bark". Out of the blue, while lying in my bed, I start kicking my feet and yodeling. No one knows why I do this, so I keep it a secret. If you want me to stop, a belly rub sure is nice.

It took me a while to discover that there is more to do in my back yard than wrestle with my fur sister. Birds, squirrels, and butterflies, oh my! I run like the wind from one end of the yard to the other, back and forth, back and forth. If it's raining, no bother, it just means more birds to point! I take an occasional break to lie on the porch, but then I'm off running again. I am very agile and limber. If I need a better view, I'll hop on top of the patio table. If my fur sister's in my path, I just sail over her. My foster mom thinks I'd be a good agility dog or contortionist. I definitely need a yard with 6-foot sturdy fence.

When I first came into ACES, I knew nothing about soft beds, play toys, or living in the house. I was a bit of a terror. I had to investigate everything by putting it in my mouth. Sometimes that meant grabbing something off a shelf and pulling it down to my level. And the noises, oh boy, I had to bark at all of them. I've gotten much better about all that now. I guess you could say I've gotten with the program. I enjoy long walks and running in my yard. I also enjoy belly rubs, napping on my soft bed, and playing with my toys. I love to crouch down behind a door or a tree and wait to pounce on my unsuspecting fur sister. Sometimes I will even share my bed with her. I'm very patient and won't even complain when she pads across the room to leap on top of me.

I'm very tall and thin. Food doesn't interest me much. I have beautiful exotic looking eyes and brown and pink spots on my nose. My fur is mostly white, but my skin has many brown spots. I am working on my inside manners. I like to please and I really appreciate the comforts of my life as an ACES dog. I'm looking for a forever home with a family who loves life like I do. I don't ask for much. I'm ready to love you. Are you ready to love me?
