Kopper is a one year old setter boy who has a beautiful white coat with "copper" colored freckles. He is a hearty eater and now weighs 45 lbs. Kopper has learned so much and has come a long way since arriving at his foster home. He's a smart boy who wants nothing more than to please his foster dad. He loves the companionship of his people and wants to be at your feet or following you around the house and yard.
Kopper gets along with everyone he meets. He has two foster brothers and he loves to play and rough house with them. When they are exhausted from playing, they all sleep together on the bed or couch. Kopper can still get a little "puppy wild" at times but for very short bursts. Because of his adolescent setter energy, he would do best in a home with no small children. He still has that puppy curiosity. Kopper is fascinated with the TV, checking behind it to see where the images are coming from. He needs lots of chew toys around to keep him busy. Kopper is housetrained and is learning to be the perfect gentleman. He's responding to the gentle leadership of his foster dad and would benefit from a reward-based obedience class to continue his training in his forever home. He's very bright and learns quickly. Kopper is a most adorable pup, waiting to wiggle his way into a forever home.
Kopper is a typical year-old English Setter boy. He loves to play outside...running from and chasing his foster brothers, wrestling with them, stalking bugs and anything else that moves! Kopper's very gentle and loving and loves to cuddle with his foster dad and foster brothers. He's really adjusted well. He's housetrained and is trusting and sweet. Kopper is very friendly and loves meeting new people and new dogs.
Thank you to Kopper's new friend, Pam Miller
Patty Thompson and Jerry Mead hope you will soon find your forever family to pamper you to your heart's content!
KOPPER'S SUCCESS STORY 5/09
Kopper is settling in amazingly well. He is very laid back, loves to sit next to you with his head on your lap - in good contrast to Calli who is hyper active. They are getting along very well. We are so pleased!
