Danielle (Dani) is just a bundle of sweetness.  She’s two years old and a petite 35 pound tri-color field setter with beautiful amber colored eyes.  Dani is house-trained and knows basic commands.  She’ll bark to tell you she wants to go out, or that there are people outside, or sometimes just to ask for pets.  When she is excited, Dani sits down and does a “dance” with her front paws.  She’ll move them up and down like she is dancing or marching.

As you can see from her pictures, Dani appreciates chew bones, toys, and balls.  She will come running if she hears the dog treat bag being opened or if somebody is getting ice cubes.  She is really smart about using her feet to hold whatever she is chewing. Dani is also a snuggler.  She will curl up next to you on the couch and put her head in your lap.  At night, she snuggles as close as possible to her foster mom.

Outside, Dani likes to run fast.  She loves running around investigating sights and smells and sounds but she does not seem super birdy.  At first, she will want her person outside with her, but as her confidence grows, she is able to spend time outside by herself or with her fur sibling.

Dani is absolutely precious.  She is timid in new situations and with new people, so she will need a family who can be patient with her.  Another dog in the house would be ideal as Dani looks to her foster sibling for guidance and security.  She also loves to play with other dogs.  Dani does best with older children.  She will bark when people she doesn’t know come into the house.  Dani is an active girl who would do well with a large fenced yard.
