Meet Lady, a two-year-old, 40 lb. tri-color field setter, happy as can be and very full of life. Lady is very active and playful; she will need to go to a home where she has playmates and/or an active owner. She loves to be outside, whether it is running around or just relaxing on the patio. She is a real bird dog and loves to keep watch on the sky as she circles the yard. Lady also likes to run and hike. She loves to play with toys and will fetch a little bit, but she mostly likes to play keep away.
She has a very sweet personality and has a lot of love to give. She has good manners, will sit for her food and listens very well. She is good around the house but is also crate trained. She is used to being in the crate while her owner is away. She is still very young and tends to bark at things/objects for no reason, but she is very good around other people and children.
Lady lives and plays with several other setters in her foster home. While there is no cat in her foster home, Lady gets so excited when she sees one that we recommend she got to a home with no cats.
She does fine in the car, still unsure of how to jump in but figures it out eventually. She is house-trained and also knows how to use a doggy door. She prefers to curl up on the dog pillow at night and is usually up bright and early to greet you.
Lady will bring smiles to any home and will love you more than you can imagine.
