Calvin is a 10 month old, very white English Setter, weighing 36 lbs.  He is a healthy boy but come into foster care with a touch of kennel cough from his time in a shelter.  Calvin is on antibiotics qnd improving every day.

Now that Calvin is feeling better, he badgers his elders (my two dogs), runs thru the house streaming toilet paper from the bathrooms, and is obsessed with tearing up every stuffed dog toy in the house.  So, be prepared to buy a lot of those!  He is all legs, this pup.  One of his greatest joys is sniffing out butterflies in my garden and chasing them down.  He also assumes a very still posture, then pounces on dogs, bugs, toys, anything at all.  And, just like a teenager, he wears himself out, flops down and sleeps soundly.

Calvin has proven to be good with children and other dogs. He hasn't been around cats, so I can't guess about that.  He is terrible on a leash; he likes to pull. We are working on that.  Calvin is house-trained and loves to ride in the car.  He even loved the vet's office since everyone there made such a fuss over him.

Calvin would do well in any home.  When he jumps up (like most puppies), he is ever so gentle.  Calvin can also sit and wait for food, and can be a very patient guy at times.
