I'm MARNIE, and boy, was I in trouble!  You see, I had lost my way.  Thankfully, someone took me in, and now I am looking for a new family and home.  In the meantime, I'm a happy camper here in ACES foster care.  I have lots of room to run with other setters, safe in a fenced yard.  I've tried to play with the cat, but he just doesn't want to play.  Have you got a playmate for me ?  And a nice big fenced yard ?  I like treats, too.

Marnie is a gentle and sweet tri-color English Setter.  She is young, probably just under two years old and around 35 lbs.  She's energetic but well-behaved in the house.  There are no children in her foster home but Marnie has been fine with the children she has met so far, ages 6 and over.  She loves to play with other dogs but doesn't need doggie sibling to be happy.  She's house-trained and does well when I need to go out.  Marnie will run around my fenced yard for awhile and then be content to come inside.  She will come rest her head in your lap for pets; she will lie nearby wherever you settle.  And did I say "sweet?"

Here are more pictures of Marnie in her new home.  We love her.  Thanks again everyone for getting this sweet girl to us.  She seems to get more comfortable each day and gets along well with our other setter, Elsie.  She loves walks in the park and started her first training on the invisible fence yesterday.   I am sure she can't wait to run off leash with Elsie soon.

UPDATE - 12/12

We are so thankful to have Marnie in our lives.  We adopted her in July of 2008 and really appreciate the love and care she received from her foster mother, Georgia, in Pennsylvania.  She is doing very well and still loves to chase squirrels and hunt for mice in the yard.  Marnie is such an affectionate and sweet girl.  She is great friends with her older sister, Elsie, with whom she loves to wrestle and tease by stealing Elsie's beloved tennis balls.  Marnie is very active in the day, constantly keeping tabs on everything that is going on in her yard and in the house.  She puts herself to bed at around 6:00 pm by curling up into a ball on the couch and not moving until we encourage her to go out one last time at 9:00.  Then she is up at dawn ready to track the squirrels, birds, and mice in the yard.  She loves her routine.  We love her so much.
