This beauty is a seven month old orange spitfire named ADELAIDE. Adelaide may sound like a name for your grandma, but this girl is no old lady. We call her Addie. Addie is a total trip! She is sweet, smart and sassy to boot.
Addie is sweet, smart and soft as a bunny. But she is still a puppy so a family with lots of patience, time and experience with young dogs would be great for her. I know she would love to play with children, but I think kids over five years old would be best so no one gets knocked down.
It took Addie a little while to adjust to living in a home. We had a few potty accidents at first, but now she is completely housetrained. She will go to the door when she wants to go out, and she no longer needs to be crated at night. She has charmed her way up onto our bed. Addie knows "sit" and has learned not to jump up. She knows her name and comes when called; although, she can sometimes be busy when outside and needs a couple of calls before she heads in. She is exceptionally smart and eager to please.
Addie loves everyone and wants to play, play, play. She is great with other dogs. A home with a playmate is a must! We have a large backyard to play in, and she loves to run outside and play with our dogs. She actually jumped over one of our other dogs. She doesn't challenge the fence and wants to chase everything, but she doesn't seem to be too birdie. If our other dogs don't want to play, she can entertain herself with toys and bones. She is a baby and likes to chew so we keep tons of toys, bones and chewies available. She has never been destructive in our home. Addie is very relaxed when she comes into the house. She crawls into our laps at night and cuddles while we watch t.v.
Addie, I hope you find a wonderful family with a mom as devoted as mine!
