RUDY is my name.  Investigating is my game.  When I was found rummaging for food, I was a sad, hungry fellow.  It's been a long trip from the streets to the shelter to my ACES foster home.  I must say, it's wonderful what a warm house, good food, a soft bed, and a little love can do.  I'm great now.  Even got into a bit of mischief investigating when I found the bag of beef sticks in the pantry.  Hey, even an older guy can have some fun!  My foster mom says I'm a really good boy.  Here's some more info from her:

When Rudy arrived at my house, he was in need of care and accepted it graciously.  Resting separately, so as not to be overwhelmed by our household activity, he soon gained his strength back.  Rudy is now in good health.  Rudy was introduced to my dogs and cat with no problems. He's good with other animals and just avoids small children when they get boisterous.  Rudy is a very cooperative boy.  He is easy on a leash and rides well in the car.  He has gotten his bounce back and sometimes dances around a bit with excitement, especially in anticipation of his meal.  Rudy would do well with another dog or by himself.  He appreciates attention, sticking close to his person when inside or outside.  At the approximate age of 10, arthritis in his hind quarters has slowed Rudy some, but he does the six steps from the deck to the yard and back okay.  This laid back boy is a wonderful companion.  Could he be yours?

This gift is for Rudy with love from Dexter and Fergie Lawyer in Detroit.  And Penny Lawyer too.  May you find a forever home soon.
