BOSLEY is looking for his third angel!  His first angel spotted Bosley at the local shelter, where he had been turned in as a stray. Right away, she knew he was something special, and contacted ACES. His second angel was his foster family .... Could you be Bosley's third angel?

Bosley's assignment is to find a forever home that wants him and loves him! Bosley is a handsome, muscular, orange belton field setter boy who loves to play with squeaky toys, point birds, and, most of all, cuddle with you! He is estimated to be between one and two years old. Bosley was turned in to a shelter as a stray. He was underweight and badly infested with fleas, but, after a month at the shelter, had been treated and put on some handsome birddog muscle. He is about 50 pounds, but has some weight to gain. He should probably weigh in the 55 to 60 pound range. Other than being a bit underweight, Bosley is healthy, up-to-date on shots, heartworm free, neutered, and microchipped. He is housetrained, and understands the commands "kennel," and "sit."  He has shown no tendency whatsoever to chew on anything besides approved items (bones, stuffies, foster brother's ear).

Bosley gets along well with my three setters, two males and a female, and got along well with his kennel mate at the shelter. He spends much of his time playing with my 15 month old English Setter male, who adores him. After play is over, though, they fall asleep together on the floor, often touching paws or tails. He does fine with the two cats in his foster home and respects them greatly. One day while he was playing with a toy, one of the cats woke up from a nap and stretched up really tall. Bosley cowered to the floor as though he thought the cat was going to take his toy away!  He seems to love all people, especially if they give him cuddles and treats.  He is somewhat shy and will cringe at a sharp tone of voice. It appears that he may have been handled roughly at some point in his life. Despite his worry, Bosley is a dog that will blossom with calm, consistent, positive training along with heaps of love.

If you are the third of Bosley's Angels, please contact ACES!
