Hi!  My name is DANIELLE, although everyone around here calls me Dani.  I want to write today because my foster Mom says I should tell you about the best little bundle of love you'll ever know.  I'm not really sure what that means, except that I love my new foster mom & dad, my fur sisters and my nice warm house very much.

I don't think I was wanted until I came to ACES so sometimes big people make me uneasy.  After I get to sniff you, my "wagger" and tongue start because I have to show you I like you.  I am a very brave little girl about some things, like my foster mom's noisy printer and the chair she rolls around in all day.  I also have become quite the huntress in my backyard, exploring every corner.

My foster mom keeps telling me that I just need someone with patience because I am a love machine!  I surely do like to kiss and hug and snuggle in bed, and I even like to kiss and play with my 2 fur sisters!  They're a lot of fun, and have taught me how fun it is to play with toys.  So much so that I've piled my new crate full of toys!  My foster mom and dad call it my "baby kingdom."  Whatever they want to call it is fine, because I know it's a really safe and warm place to be.

I've started to learn what yummy dog treats are, and I like that I get fed every day since 25 lbs. might be just a little thin for an 11 month-old specked tri-color field setter.  My foster mom says that my eyelashes look like I've used mascara!  Well, I know I'm cute because they keep telling me so, but I want you to know as well.  Check out my pictures and I know you'll fall in love!

FROM DANI'S FOSTER MOM:

Dani has adjusted very well to being loved by humans, and has come a long way since joining our home over a month ago.  She continues every day to amaze us at how she's coming out of her shell and being the beautiful puppy she is, being brave, trying new things and wagging her tail all of the time.  While she is timid around new people, she learns to warm up quickly.  Because of her shyness, she would do best with children over 5 yrs. of age.  She gets along very well with our other dogs, and loves to play with them both inside and outside.  Dani responds very well to basic commands, loves her crate, and has only had a handful of accidents in the house.  She will even "talk" to you with her precious little "roo roo"!!  With a bit of patience, Dani is going to make someone's home very happy!
