FLYNN is a blue belton setter male between 2 and 4 years old and weighing about 32 lbs. Flynn was underweight when he was found as a stray but is steadily gaining. The vet expects him to round out between 38-40 lbs.
Flynn was not housetrained but he has been learning very quickly. He follows his foster-sister June around and learns a lot about living in a house from her. He already found out that being a couch potato is great and being a couch hog gets you the best seat in the house! Flynn gets along well with June but gets a little excited around the cats. He chases them over the child gate and howls at them until he's distracted by something else so a home without cats would be best. Flynn loves to chew but he's not destructive. He loves chew-toys and plays with them all the time.
Flynn is energetic but he also loves his foster parents. He loves to curl up on the couch next to you and snuggle. He will meet you at the door with a wagging tail and an exclusive chance to give him lots of pets. He sleeps in a crate at night but tries to climb into bed every chance he gets. He is also good in the crate when left alone. Flynn will play outside and watch the birds, spinning and twirling around the yard. Flynn loves to be outside and loves to go for walks. He walks pretty well on a leash. He is very curious and wanders a little to check things out but he doesn't pull. Flynn is a very gentle soul. Flynn could probably use a reward-based obedience class to work on commands like sit and stay but he will already come when called.
Flynn is looking for a forever home with lots of love and a couch to share!
