Like most rescue dogs, TUCKER has a sad story to tell. Tucker was abandoned on an uninhabited farm and left to fend for himself without food or water. Fortunately, Tucker wandered up to the neighbor’s place. Poor Tucker was in very bad shape…his ribs and hip bones were sticking out. Tucker ended up at the local humane society and then found his way to ACES.

Despite this sad start to life, young Tucker is an incredibly sweet and happy dog. Tucker is about a year old and weighs 44 lbs. He has probably never been inside a house or seen a leash, but he is learning his manners, is becoming housetrained, and is mastering basic commands. Regular meals suit Tucker well, so he’s starting to fill out nicely. Tucker loves being a part of family life. He is good with kids, plays well with other dogs, and is gentle with the cats. He likes tennis balls and rawhides. Everyone who sees him comments on how beautiful he is. The gushing really starts when they bend down and he snuggles up next to them! If allowed, he enjoys flopping on the bed next to the resident kids. Dogs don’t get much sweeter than this boy.

Tucker has been neutered, is micro-chipped, and is up-to-date on all shots. He appears very healthy and happy. His forever home will need to continue teaching him how to be a family dog with lots of love and patience. Tucker’s well worth your time!
