Meet ACES Scout. He’s a beautiful and incredibly gentle 3 year old Orange Belton Setter.  This pocket-sized boy has nothing but sweetness in his 30 lb body!

All Scout wants is to be loved.  Scout is quite content to hang out on the couch with you or in your chair. When it’s time to get up in the morning, he’s eager to start the day.  He is quite good at trying to pull all the covers off and help you out of bed. When it’s time to go outside, Scout is ready to roll and chase the butterflies. Throw a squeaky toy for him and watch him toss it around and play.  Scout is a lot of fun!

Scout was a little nervous when he came to his foster home. Everything was new to him and he was a bit shy as a result.  Each day that he was exposed to new things and new places, he has become more and more comfortable. He’s gone from being hesitant to go on a walk to now getting excited at the word and lining up at the door ready to go.  Overall, Scout’s been adjusting well to life in the house and getting the hang of the routine. He’s been learning his name and some basic obedience commands.

He gets along well with other dogs but is not well-suited for a home with cats.  He will want to chase them and cats don’t always appreciate that type of attention.  Scout would love to have a canine sibling at home.  Another dog in the family has done wonders for boosting Scout's confidence.

Scout is ready to meet his new family and share his love with you!

Scout thanks Sandra Witten for her support as he waits for a loving forever home to call his own!

Steve, Teri & Miss Sophia Sauer hope that Scout will soon be chasing butterflies and then hanging on the couch with a loving family!
