ACES Website Features

ACES has a new look!  We're very excited about the ACES website and would like to share some of the new features with you.

  • The dogs new to ACES will appear first on the Available Dogs page.  If a change is made to an existing dog profile (e.g., an update, new pictures or adding a friend), that dog will move to the front of the list.  So the "latest and greatest" information will always appear first.  You can click on the dog's face to read more.  Each dog available for adoption has a photo gallery.  You may scroll through the gallery photos by positioning your cursor and clicking at the top right (next) or left (prev) of the photo.
  • When a dog is adopted, the adoption date will be entered on that dog's profile and the dog will automatically move to the Family Album for the current year -- to the front of the list so that the last dog adopted will appear first.  This year, you'll only have to look at the 2008 Family Album to see who has been adopted.  This is a huge improvement in terms of maintenance, not only in reporting adoptions but also in keeping the Family Album up to date.
  • We also added the ACES News & Events section to the home page.  We think this will be a great communication tool and plan to publish News Articles frequently.  Previous news articles can be seen on the ACES News page.
  • The site is designed for the latest versions of popular browsers, i.e., Internet Explorer 7.0.  The menu bar may not appear in the correct location (to the right) if you are using an older version of your browser.
  • Links to PayPal, CafePress, and iGive have been added at the bottom of the menu so they will be easily accessible from every page.

We hope you'll visit often.  We'd love to hear from you so please sign the Guestbook or send us your comments.  Thank you for your support of ACES.
