In Search of Star Setters
One of our favorite fundraising projects, the annual ACES calendar, is right around the corner! Now is the time to submit your photos to be featured for a month or a day of 2009. For a donation of $100, your ACES dog can be the Star Setter of the Month for one month during 2009. Reservations are first come, first served, so please reserve your month as soon as possible! Calendar entries must be received by 9/1/2008.
For a donation of $10, your pet's photo can be featured on the day of your choice. You can commemorate a gotcha day, birthday, graduation day, or even a best hair day for your pet! The pets on the individual days do not have to be ACES dogs or even dogs at all!

Monthly Photo Submission Guidelines
Entries must be ACES Rescue dogs. There may be other dogs in the picture, but at least one dog must be an ACES adoptee. You may not purchase a month for your ACES dog(s) two years in a row.
No humans; pets only.
We must receive your entry by September 1st so that the calendar can be designed and sent to the printer by the end of September.
Please submit more than one picture per dog. Pick your best two or three ... or ten.
Photos must be digital photos and should be as large as possible. Please don't crop or make any changes to the original image; just send them the way you took them. We will crop, edit out date stamps, red eye or leashes if necessary. The bigger the file, the better. Please remember to also send along your dog's name, your full name, and your city and state.
Please include a bio with your setter's name, date adopted, age when adopted, a brief background history, and your name as you want it to appear in the calendar. Owners' names will be included for each month. We'll use this information when we write a caption that goes with your picture. Please understand that we may have to do some minor editing to account for space on the page.

Single Day Photo Submission Guidelines
Entries can be any breed or species! Bird, cat, dog, iguana, hamster ... we'll take them all!
We must receive your entry by September 1st so that the calendar can be designed and sent to the printer by the end of September.
Please specify which date you would like your pet's photo to be on. Again, this is on a first come, first served basis so please include a "back-up" day in case we're unable to accommodate your first request.
Please include your pet's name and your name with each image. We will add it to the bottom of the watermark image. Please do not send "professional" photographs unless you are the photographer - we cannot be held liable for copyright infringement.
These will be the small daily squares so we can use just about any image you've got! Again, please don't alter the picture; we'll crop it to get the best fit on the calendar and be assured that we'll make your little star as good-looking as possible!

Calendar Month/Day Donations
Please make your reservation using one of the methods below. No month or day reservations will be finalized until your donation is received. We will then contact you by email to ask for your photographs. Thank you for supporting ACES!
